The comments below are somewhat unfair. This is the one of, if not the best Renamer out there. Next to the actual renaming in all variants you can create and save settings for such tasks.

WOW... pissed off! Went to batch date my files- ended up deleting all but one.. wouldnt undo- went on their website and see they are advertising "non-destructive" and "smart undo" and "backups" WHERE- there is no information in your help, on your board or how tos as to WHY this would even be allowed to occur or how to fix it. So I guess I am just screwed. Just becarful with this program.. cus once there gone... they are gone and you wont even know what happened.

What is the limitation number of files? Seems like more than 50 files, the app hung. I'm using Trial Version on macOS Catalina.

i have been using v 5.x for years and liked it a lot (i have tried many other apps, but this one was the best for me). i upgraded to v6, but was a bit miffed that they charge the full fee for upgrade. would make sense to give a discount to previous paying users.
